The transformable mobile armor ORX-005 Gaplant, developed for high-altitude interception, has performance surpassing that of second-generation mobile suits. Although this machine was developed before the category of third-generation mobile suits (transformable mobile suits) was established, its performance is sufficient to qualify as a third-generation mobile suit.
