Gigguk是一位英籍泰裔YouTube动画评论家，主要以“十分浓烈的英国口音对快节奏的讽刺漫画评论”而闻名。

他在2012年开始在YouTube创作视频（原网名为The Anime Zone）。后2014年由于工作原因，更新速度变慢甚至停更。后在2016年辞掉了自己的工作并创立了自己的Patreon页面重新开始创作可能觉得做漫评更有意思。

经历

• 1990年5月31日，Garnt出生于英格兰布莱顿的一个泰国移民家庭。根据他在《Trash Taste》播客上说，他还曾经出家。
• Gigguk于2006年5月4日首次创建了自己的频道，在2009年创建了自己的第一个动漫评论。一位匿名用户曾侵入Gigguk的帐户并删除了他的一些较早的视频，之后Gigguk在2011年将其重新上传到YouTube。Gigguk表示，他最大的灵感来自游戏评论员Yahtzee，尽管他认为他的发展是由于Yahtzee已经好几年没有看他了。
• Gigguk于2012年与Arkada、Holden和Jeanne一起是PodTaku（已停播）的创始成员，之后Jeanne离开了PodTaku。Gigguk成为了PodTaku姐妹播客的创始成员之一（被称为J-Taku）。
• 之后，2014年在英国广播公司担任全职工作（后来Garnt在自己的分身频道上说明了，实际上是BBC外包工作给Atos，他的人事关系实际是Atos的），这段时间Gigguk几乎没有制作任何新视频。直到2016年辞掉全职工作并创建Patreon页面以后，他在youtube至少每周或每两周制作一次视频。
  • 分身频道的说明也说出了当时转职的原因：1.加班时老大在家指挥，自己要现场干死干活没啥好处；2.父母仍要工作来帮补自己的收入；3.被未婚妻Sydsnap煽动转全职Youtuber。在转职前一年开始从伦敦搬回老家居住，半夜回家写剧本做视频来维持频道热度，囤够脱产后能维持半年生活的积储后才正式辞工转全职Youtuber。
• 2019年10月，与未婚妻Sydsnap（Sydney Poniewaz）移居日本。
• 2020年，与同样定居于日本的YouTube动漫博主神城维来（Joey Bizinger，YouTube名：The Anime Man）和Connor Marc Colquhoun（YouTube名：CDawgVA）一起创立了播客节目Trash Taste。
• 2022年1月31日，确诊新冠肺炎。
• 2022年6月6日，正式与未婚妻（Sydney Poniewaz）结婚。

• 吐槽《K-On》是喝茶番中发出了名言“Mother F**king Tea.”
• 在《Eromanga Sensei: A Modern Masterpiece》中发出了名言“Anime is trash, and so am I.”，流传广到甚至产生了周边。
• 多次吐槽《家有女友》的“火辣”剧情，曾在吃下一颗幽灵辣椒后描述它的剧情。后功夫不负有心人，得到了与《家有女友》的作者流石景访谈的机会。
• 为了全面的了解抽卡游戏（科学的伟大献身），在抽卡游戏中花1000美刀。最初选择了7款游戏，由于每天刷着这么多的游戏顶不住了，后缩减到3款(《Dragalia Lost ～失落的龙约～》《明日方舟》《Fate/Grand Order》)。最后花了$0在《Dragalia Lost ～失落的龙约～》、$150在《明日方舟》上、$650在《Fate/Grand Order》上（其中$400在抽阿斯托尔福上）400$抽个屌并说出“Sometimes it takes a real man to become best girl.”
• 由于Gigguk出身于英国曾被吐槽名字中Gigguk是Gigg UK。
• 多次吐槽异世界类型的动画作品。最终在视频I went to a Real Anime Studio in Japan 中承认自己喜欢异世界类型的动画
• 比较喜欢热血类的作品。
• 由于名字的发音和拼写与格兰特（Grant）相近，因此经常被戏称为Grant。
• 在《崩坏：星穹铁道》中为NPC烦躁的流浪者（Restless Vagrant）的英文语音配音。（VA:配音演员，grant:Gigguk的戏称）
