There are two common regional variations in the lyrics, adding Lord or Oh to the second verse of the chorus, so that it reads:

兩個版本的聖歌出現在2013年的遊戲生化奇兵無限中。傳統的合唱版由Maureen Murphy創作；而屢獲殊榮的原聲版本由Troy Baker(結他)和遊戲主角布克和伊利沙伯的配音演員創作,這首歌(Ada Ruth Habershon, Charles Hutchinson Gabriel (2:56) on Track 3)在2013年VGX獲得最佳遊戲歌曲獎。

這個版本後面的哽咽之聲是演唱者Courtnee Draper當時的真情流露。當時 Courtnee 的祖父快將不在人世，當她探望後回到錄音室時就錄下了這首歌。《生化奇兵無限》的總監肯·列文(Ken Levine)覺得這次錄音的效果很不錯，就保留了這個版本。而正是這個版本獲得了2013年VGX的最佳遊戲歌曲獎。
