簡介
《多娜多娜》是白俄羅斯裔猶太作家亞倫·蔡特林（Aaron Zeitlin）戲劇 Esterke 中的一曲，由烏克蘭裔猶太音樂家沙隆·塞康達（Sholom Secunda）創作於1940年左右。
歌詞描述了待宰的小牛被綁在車上，天空中燕子自由飛過的場面，以牛犢的受困無助比喻猶太人受壓迫的社會境況。有人認為本曲反映了猶太大屠殺的悲慘，不過鑑於時間上不匹配，這種說法的可信度不高。
20世紀50-60年代，本曲被陸續翻譯為英語、法語等語言，在歐美多國傳唱。到目前為止，還出現了日語、俄語、越南語等其他語言的版本。

在泛ACG界的應用
早在1964年，作詞家漣健兒就為《多娜多娜》翻譯了日語版歌詞，由男子四人重唱團 Duke Aces 演唱，後更被部分音樂教科書選入，可見其在日本的傳唱程度。而在泛ACG界，本曲也有一些應用。

《大家的歌》節目於1966年2-3月播出了《多娜多娜》，此後亦曾重播過數次。
雖然節目註明選用了安井かずみ的譯詞，但實際上與1965年3月的花生姐妹版有不同之處。畢竟要給小朋友看的，不能弄得太悲傷。後世使用的基本上也是這版經過改動的歌詞。

《多娜多娜》出現在電視動畫《少女革命》的第16話「幸福的牛鈴」（幸せのカウベル）桐生七實的牛化，為片中插曲。
這一集使用了兩個不同版本的《多娜多娜》：中部使用的是男性四人合唱團Royal Knights於20世紀70年代錄製的版本（第三段歌詞為英文）；尾部則使用了NHK東京兒童合唱團演唱的版本。1997年發行的專輯少女革命ウテナ バーチャルスター発生学收錄了前者，1998年發行的專輯少女革命ウテナ さあ、私とエンゲージして…則收錄了後者。
